Early Life Environmental Risk Factors for Asthma: Findings from the Children's Health Study:

Children with early persistent asthma were 10 times more likely to have been exposed to herbicides before the end of their first year than controls.

Some of you may have seen this study, but I just came across it again today and thought everyone might be interested. It is a study conducted by USC researchers and supported by CARB and US EPA, published this December in Environmental Health Perspectives, showing a strong correlation between early childhood exposure to pesticides and asthma risk. (Martha this may have been one of the studies you were referring to on the phone yesterday?). I've attached a word copy and the link to the official abstract.
